4:09 pm - hello
here are some picures from the wedding...

http://homepage.mac.com/ryanandtheresa/PhotoAlbum4.html

Everything is going well.. I start clinicals in five weeks and I'm at the top of my class so far. I started buying scrubs today and that's really exciting! Ryan started grad school yesterday and I'm starting to look for a job to help support us. We're happy :)

9:12 pm - ahh.. married life
Well, here's the breakdown...

The wedding was wonderful. Best day of my life. We are doing very well as husband and wife!!! :D I'm doing a med tech program at Fairview for a year. I just had my first day today. It's going to be tough and the commute sucks but I get to work in the lab so it's ok. Ryan and I are living in Buffalo. He starts grad school at SCSU for Marriage and Family Therapy in the fall. In the meantime, we are living happily together and just hanging out with each other. It's great!

2:18 pm - One more week....
It's weird to think that we'll be done in like two months. After Spring Break there's only half a semester left! It's scary but at the same time, I'm so ready. I'm so sick of college! And it's so hard to talk to freshmen about your life and everything that's going on now. Ah well.

Last night like thirty people went out to RO's for 2 for 1 pitchers. When I got home from work, like eight people came up to ask me if I was going and I had no clue. But I went and had a blast. It was so fun! And I even made it to my 8:00 class this morning. I thought I was going to die, but I was there. I can't wait to go home to the bars in Minneapolis too over break. Mary, we should go out!

Gotta run to choir and then NOT go to work. Finally, a night off!

The last semester of college is so... boring. I'm just ready to be done!! Wedding planning is fun though and that is keeping me busy. Classes are fine.. really easy. That's probably why I'm so bored! But I have to go write a paper now.. just an update. :)

I just had a new experience tonight - listening to Christmas music naked. I was about to take a shower and decided to turn on the radio and put the all Christmas all the time station on. So I'm in the shower, singing I'll Be Home For Christmas to myself when I realize that I'm in fact naked. It was really weird because I never thought that those two experiences would mix.

Today I went to the public library to work on my Biochem paper (what a fun thing to do over break!!), visited good ol' Northtown and shopped with my eyes, came home and made cookies. It's like we're so anxious to go home for break and everything but once we're there we go crazy because we're not busy. Grr. Tomorrow though I have to drive down to Mankato for a doctor's appointment so that will fill my day... Wednesday I need to finish reading my research for my paper and Thursday I get to cook ALL DAY!!! :) And Friday of course is Christmas shopping! Speaking of, I really need to figure out what to get everyone.

11:41 am - turkey in one week! :)
Only my genetics paper is in the way of going home for break. I can't wait! I think the first thing I'm going to do is go to Noodles and Company. :) At the beginning of this week I didn't think that I would make it through my three exams, presentation and paper but I DID! What a relief. Tomorrow we are going to Lincoln to sing for the NMEA conference so I don't have class and I'll either leave from there or wait until Saturday morning.. depending how late I'm up tonight writing my paper. :\ I've been looking at nursing schools but it's really hard with the future being so up in the air. It depends where Ryan will get accepted to grad school because I'm working first.. I might not start nursing school until Spring 2006 or something. And with him not finding out until April... we'll just see what happens. :) There's tons of wedding planning to do. We're ordering invitations over break (hopefully) and I have to make sure all my bridesmaids have gotten measured soon. It's a good thing next semester will be a semi-easy one. Well, time to meet Ryan for lunch before Anatomy lab.

12:03 am - Go BOSOX!!
My favorite John Kerry quote so far:

When answering who his favorite Boston Red Sox player is, "I like Manny Ortiz."

Funny, on the roster there's only David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez... what a fan!!!

4:23 pm - Burn Out
It's been crazy. This week I have four exams plus the ALDS is starting and I can't miss that! This is the Twins' year. I know it. There wouldn't be a more exciting start than at Yankee Stadium. I'm working a lot and Wednesday is Ryan's and my three year anniversary. We already celebrated it on Friday though because this week is too hectic. We just have this week and then a four day week before fall break. Ryan and I are going to Colorado to visit my sister. That'll be a really nice break! I can't believe how fast the semester is going. This has by far been the fastest. But I'm so ready to be done.. and I'm really missing Minnesota and all my friends. I think I still had that ideal of my senior year up in Moorhead from all these years. Oh well.. not that I don't love it here.. it's just not Minnesota. I'll be so happy to be back for good in May. :D Well I need to run and do stuff before dinner and then go to Biochem lab.. yuck!

2:29 pm - What a great week!
1) I aced two exams.
2) The Keith Urban album came out yesterday and it's so good!
3) I don't have Statistics on Friday because I aced my exam, meaning I don't have class until 11:10 on Friday as opposed to 8:30.
4) Our Genetics Quiz on Friday got moved to Monday - big stress reliever.
5) I've made over $50 in tips each of the three past nights I've worked.
6) The Twins clinched the division!!
7) Annie got engaged - our childhood dream of planning our weddings together. :D
8) I love food.

Mmm.. life. Yum!

So I'm just hanging out before anatomy lab. I think that this semester will go really well. My classes will be hard but I won't be crazy busy homework wise I don't think. And I'm having so much fun already. I love my friends. :) And we're all 21 now so we can go out. Yay. Last night a bunch of us drove to Lincoln for Mexican food really late so I'm kind of tired. And I have to work tonight - first night back! I hope it's fun. I've missed Val's a lot. I hope John is working too so I can at least say hi, the little punk. I love living with Maura! We have such a fun time together and she's someone I can really confide in. Good times. Well, I should get ready to go! I don't think we get to start dissecting our cats today so I hope we do something interesting.

I wish we could have a smaller wedding. And I know that we could, but our families are so huge that so many people couldn't come and would be really sad not to come. So that's that. Who knows? Maybe RSVP's will be low.

I leave for school on Friday with my mom. She doesn't want to do the whole thing in one day, which is a load of crap. It's only seven hours. It would be more tolling to do it in two days. Just get it over with. Whatever, I'll be in Nebraska Friday night. I'm so not in the school mindset. That's a little scary. But I did get all my school supplies today so it feels a little better. :)

So I'm all for the USA winning at the Olympics, but we downplay everyone else so much. Like when the South Africans won the swimming relay... If the US won every event it wouldn't be that exciting now would it? Let's give some props to Zimbabwe or something. And one more thing.. I'm watching men's gymnastics, so where is Alexi Nemov? I know Russia isn't doing great but he's delicious.

5:01 pm - You and me going fishin' in the dark...
Summer break has officially begun! Is it a coincidence that it's also 90 degrees out? I think not. ;) My finals all went really well and now I have a carefree summer ahead of me. I have to stay until Sunday for graduation for choir though. Oh well.. at least I can work more and have more fun with my friends before we say goodbye. And hang out with John! He's the boy from work who likes me but we talked and we're soooo cool now. He's my homie. Tonight I'm going to a surprise party for my friend Becky's birthday, tomorrow we're having a Friends party, Friday I work, Baccalaureate and then John and I are watching movies. Saturday is graduation and work and Sunday I work in the morning and come home! I can't wait to go to some Twins games. And Ryan and I are going to game five of the Wolves/Kings series! I'm so pumped for that! Happy Summer and don't do anything too stupid.

1:20 pm - Now I know how Jimmy Buffet feels....
It's the last day of classes! Party on! Tonight a bunch of us are going out to celebrate. I hate serving big groups but I don't mind being in one. :) Oh and have I mentioned the 21 is the best age? YUM. It's just so nice to know that I can have a drink when I feel like it and not be all scared. And I made it with no minors!! Finals are next week and then I'll be all done. I just have to stay for choir and do graduation and work. I can't wait to go back to Minnesota lakes and Twins games! :D

And a boy likes me at work.. it's stressful - I don't want to be mean because he's really cool but frankly, I already have my man. :)

3:12 pm - In The Zone
I love grooving to Britney Spears' new CD. Does that say anything about me?

Only one week until Easter Break.. I can't wait to go back to Minnesota. These Southern people are weird. ;) Things are going well.. I can't wait to graduate in a year. :D and be 21 in 25 days! I just registered for classes next year and I've got Anat Phys, Biochem, Genetics and Stats. Sounds like a good ol' time. But now I have to go to work and make the big bucks.
